Sharp & Carter are partnering with this national Tier One organisation to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their Perth based business unit. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a broad financial accounting role with exposure to regional reporting and involvement in process improvements, system enhancement initiatives whilst working for a billion dollar organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies
- Manage BAS, FBT, and tax compliance tasks
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Contribute to system improvements and financial process optimisation
- Collaborate with various business units to provide accurate and insightful reporting
- CA/CPA qualified (Previous Audit Experience from the Big 4 is highly desired)
- Strong understanding of Financial Statements.
- 3 + years of commercial experience in a Financial Accounting capacity.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Power Bi
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present reports and insights clearly to stakeholders.
