With a strong market presence and continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team in Western Sydney for a 12 month FTC.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering precise financial assessments to support strategic decision-making. - Prepare monthly financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Oversee accounts reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations, including BAS and FBT
- Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Manage all fixed asset processes, including capital budgeting, month-end closing, asset verification, and disposals
- CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing or similar environments
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, tax regulations and audit compliance
- Exposure to fixed asset management processes
