The Position
This unique opportunity will grow as the business expands - an exciting opportunity has been created for a hands on and commercially minded Senior Financial Accountant who wishes to be involved in key decision makings. You will play a key role in the overall success of operations by working closely the Finance lead and key stakeholders across the business managing the financial integrity whilst the business continues to grow rapidly. The duties of your role will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts - P&L, balance sheet, working capital
- Partner and collaborate with wider business to drive continuous end to end process improvements
- Involvement with budgets and forecasts
- Work closely with supply chain surrounding inventory management
- Identifying and recommend areas where processes can be improved
- Support the MD with strategic projects
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and tax obligations
- CA/CPA qualified or studying towards
- 4+ years in a similar Financial Accounting role (Retail, FMCG, eCommerce, inventory management ideally)
- Ability to work in an ever-changing and agile environment
- Engage effectively with non-financial stakeholders
