An exciting opportunity is available for a commercially minded Financial Analyst to join a high‑performing finance team in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. This role is ideal for a driven finance professional who thrives on partnering with the business, influencing decision‑making, and turning data into actionable insight.
Working closely with senior leaders across Commercial, Sales, and Operations, you’ll play a key role in shaping performance, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving continuous improvement. This is more than a traditional reporting role — you’ll be at the heart of commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to support cost control, strategic planning, and overall business performance
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead key components of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across multiple operational areas
- P&L Ownership: Manage and analyse profit and loss results, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Decision Support: Deliver timely and insightful ad‑hoc analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present clear, meaningful performance updates for senior leadership
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations to drive efficiencies and cost‑saving initiatives
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong analytical capability with a passion for translating data into commercial insight
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and business partnering
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- Proactive mindset and a continuous improvement approach
- Part‑qualified or qualified in a relevant finance or accounting discipline (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
- 1–2 years’ experience in a finance‑related role post‑degree, ideally in an FMCG or fast‑moving commercial environment
- Strong Excel skills; experience or interest in tools such as Power BI highly regarded
- Familiarity with ERP and reporting systems (e.g. JDE, BI or similar)
