Senior Finance Analyst / Finance Business Partner
Location: Near Sydney Airport (4 days on-site, free parking)
Salary: Up to $160k + Super

Our client is a European-listed, global organisation operating in a complex, fast-paced environment with significant operational scale. The Australian business plays a critical role within the broader group and is undergoing a period of continued commercial focus and performance optimisation.
The Role
Reporting into an experienced, influential and supportive Commercial Finance Lead, this role sits at the intersection of financial analysis, commercial decision support, and hands-on operational finance. You will act as a true business partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight, challenge, and clarity across performance, forecasting, and operational drivers.
This is not a passive reporting role - it requires someone who enjoys being close to the detail, influencing outcomes, and translating numbers into commercial actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Finance Business Partner to senior operational and commercial stakeholders
- Deliver high-quality financial modelling, scenario analysis, and forecasting
- Own and enhance management reporting, budgets, and rolling forecasts
- Provide insight into stock / inventory performance, margins, and cost drivers
- Support month-end with a strong understanding of operational accounting impacts
- Drive continuous improvement across Excel models, reporting packs, and analysis
- Communicate financial insights clearly and confidently to non-finance audiences
- CA / CPA qualified
- Background in hands-on commercial finance, senior analyst, or FBP-style roles
- Exceptional Excel and financial modelling capability (this is critical)
- Demonstrated exposure to inventory / stock accounting in an operational environment
- Strong communicator — confident engaging with senior, non-finance stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, operationally intensive business
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially curious
- Full Australian working rights - Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
