The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager this PART TIME TEMPORARY ROLE will see you working within a progressive and supportive team. Your roles and responsibilities will include (not limited too):
- Highly commercial role - cross functional collaboration with internal and external, finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Create plans, budgets, and forecasts by working closely with the sales & operational teams
- Manage the preparation of the capital forecast
- Product costing & stock takes
- Regularly review and update the product cost and pricing structure and ensure standard cost accuracy to enable better decision making
- Support the business to establish efficient processes to maintain master data (e.g., BOMs, routes, item master data)
- Support warehouse staff that perform monthly cycle count stock takes, including analysis of outcomes to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in annual physical stock-takes as necessary
- Work with sites to build capability of business leaders and stakeholders on effective cost management and management accounting practice
You will be an experienced Finance Business Partner / Commercial Analyst with advanced MS Excel experience. Skills will include:
- Experience from a large complex organisation or high volume environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environment
