About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Director you will take full ownership of statutory and management reporting across the group’s ANZ operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and global service teams, while leading and developing a small onshore finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive month-end close, including trial balance reviews, reconciliations, intercompany transactions and royalty schedules
- Ensure full compliance with local statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
- Prepare annual statutory accounts for all entities
- Lead and coordinate external and internal audits in collaboration with offshore teams
- Partner with various business units to provide financial insights and support
- Deliver continuous improvement in processes, systems and controls
- Support the implementation of new systems and process changes
About You
- CA or CPA qualified, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior finance position
- Big 4 trained (essential), ideally with post-chartered experience in industry
- Proven ability to manage external audit and financial compliance functions
- Experience working with large, complex organisations – retail or trade experience a plus
- Strong leadership and team mentoring capabilities
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP highly regarded)
