About the Role
Ford Australia is seeking a General Manager of B2B Strategy and Sales to accelerate growth across fleet business, serving both large enterprise and small businesses. This critical role holds significant influence, shaping both product development decisions and driving Ford Australia’s corporate strategy. Ford are looking for a true leader with strong commercial instincts, a passion for building relationships and the motivation to progress in their career, helping to shape Ford’s continued transformation.
Reporting to the Director of CX and Sales and based at Ford Australia’s NSC Corporate Office, you will serve as the strategic leader for this pivotal function. Leading a team of 10, you will cultivate deep relationships with major accounts, identify new growth opportunities, and spearhead conquest efforts to elevate our commercial success to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Growth: Lead the development and execution of Ford Australia’s corporate strategy to win new fleet customers—across large organisations and small businesses.
- Strategic Interpretation of Global Factors: Effectively interpret global complexities to develop and implement successful local strategies for the fleet business.
- Dealer Enablement: Support dealers in building strong fleet offerings, including add-on services like telematics, vehicle upfitting, and data solutions.
- Team Leadership: Coach and inspire your team to achieve ambitious goals and build a culture of high-performance adopting Ford’s ‘Ready For Anything' philosophy.
- Market Insight: Stay on top of trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform planning and strategy.
- Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Legal teams to influence product development decisions and ensure effective, aligned strategy execution across the business.
- Performance & Reporting: Track key performance metrics and provide insights to support data-driven decisions.
- Proven Results & Growth: You have a track record of achieving significant, tangible results and driving growth/transformation in fleet, commercial vehicles, or large B2B account management.
