Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, people-first Head of Internal Sales to lead the Course Advisory team within one of Australia’s most recognised training and education providers. This is a highly influential leadership position responsible for uplifting the performance, confidence, and capabilities of a national phone-based sales team. As the strategic driver of coaching programs and enablement initiatives, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing, values-led sales culture that empowers individuals and drives results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach a team made up of two Team Leaders and their teams to achieve impressive sales goals.
- Design and implement sales enablement programs that support onboarding, performance improvement, and long-term growth.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and coach individuals to close skill gaps and maximise impact.
- Champion a feedback-rich, collaborative culture that celebrates success and continuous learning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and compliance to ensure a seamless, customer-focused sales process.
- Experience in sales leadership, including coaching, team management & driving high performance.
- Proven success as both an individual sales contributor & sales leader, ideally having led a contact centre team, internal sales team or similar.
- Industry experience in education or professional services preferential but not essential.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling, sales pipeline management, and enablement strategy.
- Empathetic, supportive leadership style with demonstrated coaching capabilities.
- Proficiency with CRM and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
