About the Business
I am exclusively partnering with a global, ASX-listed leading employer operating across North America, EMEA and APAC. With significant physical infrastructure, high-value capital investment and a strong sustainability mandate, the business is undergoing continued global transformation across finance, systems and shared services.
As part of this evolution, they are strengthening their Global Process Ownership model within R2R.
The Role
This is a newly elevated Global Financial Manager role with end-to-end accountability for Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting across multiple regions.
You will act as the global design authority and subject matter expert, owning policy, process, governance, systems and quality outcomes delivered through an offshore shared services team. This is not a BAU accounting role – it is a strategic process leadership position sitting at the intersection of technical accounting, systems ownership and global transformation.
Reporting to the Head of Shared Services, you will drive global standardisation, enhance controls, optimise automation and partner closely with regional finance, tax, treasury, procurement and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Process Ownership

- Oversight of global asset registers and lease portfolios
- Impairment cycle governance and capitalisation policy enforcement
- Oversee offshore delivery
- Define KPIs and quality metrics
- Drive capability uplift and continuous improvement
- Business owner for ERP fixed asset modules and lease systems

- Provide meaningful dashboard reporting and performance insights
About You
You will be a technically strong CA / CPA with deep experience in fixed assets and lease accounting within a complex, multi-entity environment.
You bring:
- Strong IFRS 16 / IAS 16 expertise
- Experience operating in an ASX-listed, multinational or SOX-controlled environment
- Exposure to ERP fixed asset modules (SAP preferred)
- Experience working with offshore shared services
- A process improvement and systems mindset
- The confidence to influence senior global stakeholders
What’s on Offer
- Negotiable package circa $200k + Super + Bonus

- High-visibility global remit
- Exposure to senior leadership and transformation initiatives
- Opportunity to shape and design a global process function
