Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close and group financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and adjustments across multiple entities.
- Ensure compliance with AASB/IFRS and internal financial policies.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances promptly.
- Manage internal controls and support external audits, including documentation and responses.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to enhance reporting and insights.
- Lead and develop a team of financial accountants, fostering performance and growth.
- Serve as a key contact for financial queries and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- CA / CPA Qualified
- 5+ years finance experience across large finance functions
- Strong leadership skills with a growth mindset
- Excellent communication to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders
- Self-motivated to drive function improvement
- Experienced in developing and mentoring team members
- Healthcare industry experience beneficial
