About the role
A well-established organisation are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting and Consolidation Accountant to join their team in a leading organisation within the logistics industry. As an integral part of the large finance team, you will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to oversee various financial aspects of the organisation.
The responsibilities
Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and working in a collaborative team, your main duties will include:
- Serve as a Financial Reporting and Consolidation expert to support the Group Financial Controller.
- Assisting with statutory reporting, reviewing financial reporting from our operating businesses, and contributing to ad hoc financial projects.
- Collaborate on the implementation and testing of the Oracle consolidation system to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct thorough reviews of intercompany transactions, investment in associate balances, and reconciliations.
- In addition, you will play a critical role in facilitating effective communication and collaboration among various business stakeholders.
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. You will have previous experience in a Big 4 audit firm or prior exposure to ASX listed reporting. You will demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proven ability to work under strict deadlines while managing multiple competing priorities.
