This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business who support the healthcare services within Australia. They have a large Finance team and this role will allow you to look after multiple entities, looking after their month end and revenue.
You will be joining as a Group Accountant and this is a great opportunity for an Assistant Accountant or a Finance Accountant to step up.
Role responsibilities (include but not limited to)
- Reconcile bank transactions and manage cash records.
- Handle intercompany recharges and invoices.
- Track cash flow and daily expenses.
- Process entries (e.g., accruals, prepaids) and reconcile balance sheets.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
- Assist in P&L reports, budgets, and accounts payable.
- Provide audit documentation and ensure compliance.
- Work with hospital finance teams and assist with ad hoc projects.
- Minimum of 3 years working in accounting.
- Strong background in Accountant Payable / Accounts receivable.
- CA or CPA qualified (or studying towards).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
