As the Head of Commodities, you will be reporting to the CEO playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of their commodity operations. You will be responsible for leading a dedicated team, developing and executing strategies that optimize the procurement, storage, transportation, and distribution of commodities. Your expertise will drive the business forward, ensuring to stay ahead in a competitive market.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive commodities strategy that aligns with our business goals.
- Oversee the procurement and trading of commodities, managing market risks and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline operations and maximize service levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key industry stakeholders.
- Manage budgets, drive cost-saving initiatives, and provide regular financial reporting.
- Ensure all operations meet regulatory standards and implement robust risk management frameworks.
- At least 10 years in commodities trading, supply chain management, or logistics, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills, with deep knowledge of global commodity markets.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
