About the Role
Reporting to a senior executive and working closely with the GM of Supply Chain, this hands-on Warehouse Manager role is a critical link in ensuring efficient inbound, storage, and outbound operations. You’ll be responsible for leading a team of 16+ warehouse staff across multiple shifts, managing inventory control, improving labour utilisation, and setting clear standards across all facets of warehousing.
You’ll play a key leadership role across the site and wider business, with the autonomy to implement change and drive continuous improvement initiatives—particularly around cost management, inventory integrity, team culture, and 3PL performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations across three shifts
- Drive cultural change, engagement and accountability across the team
- Lead, coach and develop warehouse supervisors, team leaders and forklift drivers
- Review and manage 3PL relationships, freight costs and delivery schedules
- Identify labour efficiency and cost-saving opportunities
- Champion food safety compliance including allergen handling and material flow
- Collaborate with planning and supply chain teams to ensure accurate delivery and storage timing
- Contribute to site leadership team decisions and strategic planning
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience managing a warehouse team in FMCG, with experience in the food manufacturing or food processing industries
- Strong people leadership: approachable, fair, firm and engaging
- Ability to foster team culture and performance through structure and clarity
- Strong understanding of inventory processes and cost management
- Experience working with or transitioning into ERP systems
- Comfortable working in a high-performance, hands-on environment
