About the role
The Head of Quality will lead the organisation’s global quality, food safety, and regulatory agenda. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring all products are safe, compliant, and uphold the brand’s global quality promise across sites. Reporting directly to the COO, you will oversee a skilled team of quality and compliance professionals while collaborating closely with leaders across R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Commercial divisions. You’ll set global standards, lead audit programs, and drive the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
In this role, you will shape and deliver the global quality and food safety strategy across manufacturing and supply chain operations—maintaining a world-class Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring compliance with international standards. You’ll manage product quality incidents, complaints, and recalls, support new product innovation, and strengthen proactive regulatory compliance capabilities. In addition, you’ll develop and mentor a high-performing global team and work closely with senior executives to align quality governance with overall business strategy.
Skills & Experience
- 10–15 years’ experience in quality assurance, food safety, and regulatory affairs within the FMCG food or beverage industries.
- Ideally demonstrated leadership of regional or global quality functions and systems.
- Strong expertise in international regulatory frameworks
- Proven capability engaging and managing co-manufacturers, suppliers, and auditors.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing, and crisis management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
