The responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer (CSCO), the main duties will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CSCO and stakeholders to develop corporate strategy.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic priorities.
- Prepare executive and board-level strategic documentation and investment cases.
- Lead the business-wide strategic planning cycle.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps with defined milestones and metrics.
- Establish program governance, performance tracking and risk frameworks.
- Lead or steer cross-functional strategic initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
- Lead the evaluation & execution of inorganic growth opportunities (e.g. M&A, and JV')
- Develop business cases, financial models, and integration plans in collaboration with finance, legal, and commercial teams.
- Work closely with the CSCO to align executive leadership on strategic priorities.
- Support Board governance processes on strategy and growth.
- Engage with external stakeholders including advisors, regulators, and partners.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track strategy execution and benefits realisation.
- Report regularly to the CSCO and Executive Leadership Team on strategic progress and risks.
The successful applicant will have:
- Big 4 or Mgmt. Consultancy background with experience within In-house strategy roles.
- Extensive experience in strategy delivery, growth strategy, project management, or operational leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proven Financial Modelling and analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong MS PowerPoint experience
