In this role you will be heading up the Group Financial Planning and Analysis function and leading the group reporting function inclusive of month end, forecasting, budgets, board reporting and financial plans. You will be fully supportive and help drive the transformation of the Finance team inclusive of driving the continuous improvement and value-added activities
Leading a small team, this role will see you supporting and working closely with the CEO and Group CFO.
Duties:
- Lead the Group Financial Planning and Analysis for this large ASX listed business.
- Lead the development and delivery of the annual budgeting process, ensuring ‘top down’ and ‘bottom up’ processes are aligned, working collaboratively with the Commercial Finance team and business stakeholders.
- Work with Group Financial Control, Treasury and Group Strategy to develop and maintain a 5-year forecast model to ensure key growth and return on investment targets are clearly defined and capital structures are in place to deliver on the strategic plan.
- Support the CEO, Group CFO, and Investor Relations to deliver high quality investor presentations, provide analysis and insights to support investor and analyst engagement, and ensure market expectations are appropriately managed.
Skills and Experience
The desired candidate will have:
- CA/CPA qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a corporate environment and 5+ Years’ Experience in a strong finance leadership role, within a global organisation/ highly complex environment
- Skilled in storytelling and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Critical thinker and team player
