The Role
Partnering closely with site leadership, the HR Manager will be responsible for delivering across key HR functions including:
- Workforce planning and labour optimisation
- Recruitment and onboarding strategies
- Performance and talent management
- Employee relations and engagement
- Training, compliance, and HR reporting
Key Responsibilities
- Align HR practices with operational goals and workforce needs
- Lead workforce planning and implement effective talent attraction and retention strategies
- Support performance frameworks that drive capability, accountability, and growth
- Manage employee relations matters in a fair, compliant, and solutions-oriented manner
- Optimise workforce structure and employment types to drive efficiency
- Ensure HR strategies are effectively implemented at the site level and aligned nationally
- Proven experience in an HR leadership role
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and IR frameworks
- Strong capability in workforce planning, labour hire, and employment models
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence at all levels
- Hands-on, commercially astute, and outcomes-driven approach
- Track record of driving cultural and organisational change
