An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead strategic and operational people initiatives across a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on aligning HR strategy with business priorities, building workforce capability, and driving a high-performance culture.

The Role

Partnering closely with site leadership, the HR Manager will be responsible for delivering across key HR functions including:
  • Workforce planning and labour optimisation
  • Recruitment and onboarding strategies
  • Performance and talent management
  • Employee relations and engagement
  • Training, compliance, and HR reporting
This role will lead cultural engagement initiatives, support operational efficiency, and manage employment models including labour hire and Pacific Labour Scheme participation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align HR practices with operational goals and workforce needs
  • Lead workforce planning and implement effective talent attraction and retention strategies
  • Support performance frameworks that drive capability, accountability, and growth
  • Manage employee relations matters in a fair, compliant, and solutions-oriented manner
  • Optimise workforce structure and employment types to drive efficiency
  • Ensure HR strategies are effectively implemented at the site level and aligned nationally
About You
  • Proven experience in an HR leadership role 
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and IR frameworks
  • Strong capability in workforce planning, labour hire, and employment models
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence at all levels
  • Hands-on, commercially astute, and outcomes-driven approach
  • Track record of driving cultural and organisational change
