About the Role Reporting to a senior operational leader, this role is responsible for driving health, safety and environmental performance across a national division.
You will develop and execute the HSE strategy, build practical action plans with leaders, and ensure robust systems, reporting and governance are in place.
The role supports both operational and corporate teams and covers physical and psychosocial safety. It requires a balance of strategic thinking and practical engagement across site environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain HSE systems, procedures and risk registers
- Lead risk assessments across operational environments
- Drive incident reporting and investigation processes
- Partner with leaders to strengthen safety performance
- Oversee workers compensation and return to work processes
- Build clear safety reporting for leadership teams
- Prepare and lead internal and external audits
- HSE leadership within manufacturing or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand WHS law
- Experience building systems and driving compliance
- Proven stakeholder engagement capability
- Strong investigation and risk management experience
