The business is built on a foundation of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility and are seeking a dedicated HSEQ Coordinator to join the team based around an hour and a half from the central of Adelaide.

About the Role
As the HSEQ Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and particularly quality standards across their operations. You will play a key role in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to industry regulations by developing, implementing, and maintaining HSEQ policies and procedures. This will focus on conducting regular customer quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established standards, identifying potential quality issues and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. 

Additionally, you will monitor and report on overall HSEQ performance, with an emphasis on quality metrics, including incident investigations and trend analysis. You will liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure all necessary quality certifications and licenses are up to date, supporting the development and implementation of continuous quality improvement initiatives, and maintaining accurate records and documentation related to HSEQ activities will also be key aspects of your role.

Skills & Responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HSEQ role within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
  • Experience working with major retailers and export quality standards.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HSEQ legislation and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
