Sharp and Carter is Working with a leading Queensland Not For Profit organisation to source an IT Infrastructure Manager, to join the team for a 6 month fixed term contract. Immediate start available for the right candidate. This opportunity is paying $120,000 + super + Salary packaging negotiable. 
 
The Role:
As the Manager, Infrastructure you are responsible for managing all aspects of the organisations cloud, server, desktop, communications and security infrastructure including overall responsibility for the incident and problem management processes. You will use your strong background in IT infrastructure to assist with outlining future requirements, upcoming implementations and writing policy and procedure.
 
Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the organisations cloud, server, desktop, communications, and security infrastructure.
  • Manage the life cycle plan of all IT assets
  • Manage the IT Service Desk to provide timely and effective response to user requests and resolution of all types of incidents.
  • Responsible for managing incident management and problem management processes.
  • Contribute to the IT Security Strategy.
  • Manage relationships with third party vendors to deliver specialised project and managed services.
  • Contribute to policy and guideline formation as well as the ongoing contribution to the knowledge database.
 
About You:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in operational aspects of commercial IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent understanding of Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server product sets, including Windows Server, Hyper-V, SharePoint, and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of network, endpoint, and mobile security systems.
  • Excellent understanding of networking, Wi-Fi, and remote access technologies, preferably using Cisco Meraki.
  • Ability to produce clear and comprehensive documentation as required including contribution towards policies, guidelines, procedures, and knowledge articles.
