About the Role
Our client is seeking an IT Manager to streamline and enhance their technological infrastructure across VIC and TAS.
Report: Directly to the Managing Director, while working closely with key stakeholders across the organisation.
Location: Laverton North, Melbourne - 5 days a week on-site.
- General IT Support: Provide comprehensive IT support to a team of approximately 50 individuals.
- Hardware Procurement and Commissioning: Manage the procurement and commissioning of IT hardware, maintaining an updated inventory.
- Project Management and Operational Initiatives: Drive specific operational projects aimed at enhancing technology infrastructure and functionality across branches.
- Website Management: Update the company website with new machines, ensuring accurate and comprehensive specifications.
- System Oversight: Ensure proper utilisation of Point of Rental and Trackunit systems by staff.
- Responsible for streamlining the organisation's current IT processes, making things more efficient and effective.
- Trackunit Integration: Lead the integration of Trackunit with OEM telematics systems and Point of Rental, collaborating with developers and operations staff to maximize functionality and client value.
- Client Portal Implementation: Spearhead the implementation of client portals within Point of Rental, serving as the central manager to address client queries and manage system issues.
- Trackunit Emissions Reporting: Oversee and ensure the successful functioning of Trackunit's emissions reporting feature to meet client demands and industry standards.
- Online Induction System: Develop and implement an online induction system tailored for different locations and truck drivers, aligning with company procedures.
- E-commerce Integration: Strategise and work towards integrating Point of Rental with the company website for direct client orders.
- Collaborate: With various department managers to align IT strategies with business goals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong knowledge of Point of Rental and Trackunit systems preferred.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on aligning technology with business objectives.
