Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT Ops team, overseeing the Service Desk function.
- Manage IT operational requirements, including IT Infrastructure encompassing Network, Server, Data Centre, Cloud Services, and Desktop environments.
- Coordinate the resolution of IT incidents and problems, implementing change management processes.
- Ensure IT service levels and performance targets are met, monitoring infrastructure health and proactively addressing issues.
- Evaluate and plan IT infrastructure capacity requirements, managing vendor relationships and contracts.
- Implement process improvements, automation, and security measures in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Oversee IT governance tasks, collaborate on budget management, and maintain stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to the client’s projects, managing technology-related initiatives and aligning them with larger-scale projects.
- Proven experience in an IT Operations Lead role with expertise in IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with modern IT tools and technologies, with a commitment to staying updated.
- Strong organizational skills, including workload management and prioritization.
- Excellent internal and external stakeholder management abilities.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills for effective interactions.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with Superannuation and Financial Services Industry is advantageous.
- Dedication to security and data protection.
- Post-secondary qualifications in a relevant discipline, tertiary degree preferred.
- Industry certifications such as MCSE, ITIL would be advantageous.
