The Position:
As a member of the technology team, reporting directly into one of the senior business analysts, you will be mentored and be responsible for supporting Business Analysis activities for multiple initiatives and projects across the group. There are many exciting new projects with new technologies and new lines of businesses for you to roll up your sleeves and get involved in.

This role is perfectly suited for someone who is interested in developing their Business Analysis skills across a range of areas and businesses. Each day can be different as you navigate through tasks such as change requests for existing systems, researching/trialing new technologies, and assisting with implementation and integration of new solutions.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Eliciting, documenting, prioritising and validating functional and non-functional requirements for projects and initiatives
  • Identifying solutions to requirements obtained from the business stakeholders whilst considering organisation constraints
  • Reviewing change requests and prioritising them within the wider technology team goals and deadlines
  • Understanding the impact of a proposed solution to the existing IT landscape
  • Assisting in workshops with stakeholders (ranging from department heads to end users and customers)
  • Working with IT suppliers to deliver solutions
  • Building user acceptance test cases and assisting with testing solutions
  • Creating user procedures and training videos
  • Supporting co-ordination of technology initiatives
  • Documenting, testing and maintaining integrations between systems and conducting data reconciliations
  • Contributing towards and maintaining project collaboration and team workspaces and internal knowledge base
  • Supporting the evaluation of technologies against business requirements
  • Providing input to the IT strategy
  • Estimating costs and identifying potential business savings

Your Skills / Experience:
  • Minimum 1-2 years Business Analysis experience with technical background
  • Experience with project management methodologies
  • Business analysis experience (gathering requirements and process modelling)
  • Experience and/or understanding in performing gap analysis and impact analysis
  • Experience working with IT vendors and/or IT development teams to implement solutions into an organisation
  • Understanding of technologies associated to web, database and application servers
  • Refined stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Use initiative and be self-managing within a team environment
  • Ability to work with a virtual team across different geographical locations
  • Understanding of webservices and API Services (preferable but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of the automotive and/or automotive insurance industry (preferable but not mandatory)
  • Experience and/or understanding of cloud-based applications (preferable but not mandatory)
