Our client is a market leading organisation based in Melbourne's Northern suburbs of Tullamarine, who continues to grow and expand; thereby, seeking an individual to grow with them. Our client is looking for a junior payroll officer with experience in administrative and human resource duties that wants to grow their career.
The Responsibilities
The duties of the role consist of the following; however, not limited to:
- Assisting in the processing of the payroll
- Working with timesheets and rostering of staff members
- Understanding and interpreting relevant awards
- Working with the systems data base
- Working with both the time in attendance and payroll system
- Liaising with internal stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will posses the following attributes, however not limited to:
- Has prior experience within the payroll space
- Has experience with end to end processing of payroll
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Has a strong willingness to learn and adapt within the role
- Has prior experience within Human Resources would also be an advantage
- Worked with variety of payroll systems in previous positions
