About the role

A terrific opportunity has become available for a permanent full time legal secretary with a personable nature and good communication skills. The successful candidate will support the Director, lawyers and conveyancers in the Property team. You will have the ability to forward plan and have previous experience operating in environments where they are heavily relied upon to undertake a multitude of tasks.
Key responsibilities

Some of your duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Supporting the team with a mix of property and commercial work
  • Management of client files
  • Email management
  • Client liaison and general administrative tasks including phone support
  • Assisting conveyancing paralegals as required
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks  
Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a legal secretary
  • A high level of computer literacy with advanced MS Office skills
  • Experience using legal practice management software, preferably Leap
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work to a high standard in a fast-paced sensitive environment
  • A friendly, pro-active and supportive team attitude firm-wide
