This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, achieving financial and case volume targets, and building strong relationships within the local community, while delivering high standards of service aligned to brand and cultural values.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will have full accountability for the performance of one site, leading a small team and operating with a strong “small business owner” mindset.
Key accountabilities include:
- Overall operational efficiency of a single location
- Delivery of case volume targets (approximately 250–500 cases per annum)
- Achievement of financial performance objectives
- Leadership and development of the local team, including Arrangers, Conductors and Funeral Assistants
- Management of service delivery in line with brand standards and customer expectations
- Development and maintenance of strong local business and community relationships
- Implementation of effective local area marketing initiatives
- Contribution to shared outcomes
- Demonstrating ownership, accountability and customer-centric decision-making
This role is ideal for experienced leaders from service-driven environments such as retail, hospitality, education, health, real estate, community services or logistics.
You will bring:
- Management experience in a service-based organisation and confidence managing operations, rostering and performance targets
- A compassionate, calm and professional communication style
- Comfortable working in sensitive environments involving grief and loss
- Ability to manage and grow a specific location or business unit
- Strong relationship-building skills within local communities
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
