About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Fitter to join a high-performing team at a clean and well-run production facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring machinery is running efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in a food or FMCG environment who is looking for stable hours and a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across production lines
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on packaging and processing equipment
• Work to high standards of HACCP, GMP, and WHS compliance
• Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
• Collaborate within a team of 5 trades (3 Fitters, 2 Electricians)

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Previous maintenance experience in a Food setting
• Strong Fabrication and Welding skills 
• Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Proactive and team-oriented work ethic
