This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant / Financial Analyst to join a leading company in the exciting and fun entertainment industry. As part of a collaborative finance team, you’ll play a key role in managing financial operations, supporting audits, analysing performance, and driving improvements across finance processes.
This role is ideal for someone looking to contribute in a multi-entity environment and develop their skills in business partnering and financial modelling. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll also work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders across the business, great for career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end month-end close process, including accruals, reporting, P&L analysis, and reconciliations
- Oversee interim and annual financial audits, ensuring controls are adhered to
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support financial requests and day-to-day finance processes
- Identify process improvement opportunities and reduce manual workload through systems optimisation
- Provide input into the annual budgeting process and support ad hoc financial projects
- Deliver financial modelling, analysis, and commentary for new initiatives and business cases
- Stay across relevant industry trends in entertainment, ticketing, and technology
- Ensure compliance with privacy, trade practices, OH&S, and corporate governance standards
- CA or CPA Qualified
- Curious mindset to understand drivers of the P&L
- Ability to business partner, talk to people in the business
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate to advanced)
- A proactive attitude and comfort with change in a fast-moving environment
- Experience with ERP systems e.g. TechOne, SAP, or Oracle beneficial
