The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will work within a high-performing finance team and support both financial and operational leaders through timely and accurate reporting, analysis, and planning.
Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Preparation of monthly financial and management reports
- Analytical review of performance vs. budget and prior periods
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning cycles
- Assistance with internal and external audit processes
- Stakeholder reporting (e.g. ABS, ATO, parent company teams)
- Tracking of capital expenditure and ad hoc project support
- Month-end close duties alongside the finance team
You’re a commercially minded and detail-oriented finance professional with experience in management and financial accounting. You thrive in a hands-on role, are confident working with large datasets, and can clearly communicate insights to both finance and operational stakeholders. You're proactive, adaptable, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. Experience with ERP systems is a plus, and you're either CPA/CA qualified or working towards it.
