Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a sizeable finance team, you will be responsible for providing a range of accounting functions, primarily focused on financial & and management accounting. You will work closely with other members in the accounting team and broader business with a collaborative approach to achieving financial reporting outcomes. You will engage regularly with operational managers to keep them up to date with financial matters, assist with building budgets for multiple branches and take ownership of the forecasting process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review month end reporting across multiple entities
- Preparation of monthly P&L accounts with commentary around variances
- Budgeting & forecasting for multiple entities and combined group consolidation
- Create and present dashboard reporting to key stakeholders
- Analyse variances to budget and provide meaningful commentary
- Partner with operational managers to provide business cases and financial modelling
Skills and Experience
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
- Detail oriented with high energy levels
- Proven track record in a broadly focused management accounting role in a commercial environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
