This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant who is seeking a chance to develop their skills and grow into a leadership role. This role sits within a collaborative and supportive Finance team.
This role will allow you to work across month end, year end / half year end reporting, budgeting and forecasting as well as getting experience partnering with business partnering and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support with budget variances and provide actionable insights.
- Support and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standard and assist with internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations and implement best practices in accounting procedures.
- Assess financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies and develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance financial management systems and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- CA/CPA qualification (or studying towards)
- Big4 / Mid tier first mover
- Commercial experience as a Financial accountant or Management accountant within an ASX listed business
- A willingness to be challenged and a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with prior examples of stakeholder management experience.
