An exciting role with a leading pharmaceuticals organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team. This Management Accountant position will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ accounting activities on a national scale. Initially this will be a long-term 12 month fixed-term contract assignment, however there is the opportunity for extension and/or permanency.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial expertise to the business with a focus on strategic planning, analysis and business partnering. More specifically, your role will include:
- Develop and maintain both rolling and fixed-term budgets, alongside preparing monthly business performance reports.
- Drive enhancements within the TM1 system and support evolving reporting requirements.
- Review and validate current data feeds while testing and implementing future integrations.
- Create and deliver tailored reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights for internal stakeholders, leveraging TM1 and related tools.
- Refine and align hierarchies, attributes, and roll-ups to ensure consistency and efficiency within TM1.
- Partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements and contribute to the next phase of TM1 development initiatives.
- Strong TM1 skills
- Experience working in complex organisations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- CA, CPA or CFA is essential for this role
- Significant hands-on management accounting experience, including integrated planning, budgeting, and management reporting.
