Your responsiblities will include, but not be limited to:
- Stakeholder management, directly communicating with clients and working alongside partners
- Developing solutions and providing advice for process improvement and income growth
- Leading startegy and business planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders, then assisting with implementation
- Team management - mentoring junior staff to deliver services to clients
- Reviewing and managing the completion of financial statements, consolidated financial statements, Income Tax Returns, FBT and GST prepared by team members
- Provide advice on tax structures and planning issues for clients, then leading the implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
- CA or CPA qualification
- Demonstrated prior experience in a similar role (5+ years)
- Ideally, experience within NFP or aged care avisory
- Experienced in delegating, reviewing work, and providing feedback.
- Thorough understanding of basic accounting procedures
- Experience with financial accounting statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
