Further details about the role
As the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing all production, engineering & maintenance, and warehouse/inbound logistics functions. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives. Leading a team of supervisors and the largest part of the workforce, the Manufacturing Manager is highly impactful on the development and performance of key emerging leadership talent and the wider business.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the following:
  • Proven track record in a similar role within the Food Manufacturing industry;
  • Strong Leadership & Team Management – Ability to strategically support the business vision, whilst having a hands-on approach to the team and leading from the front;
  • Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement tools;
  • Experience with Engineering Project & Budget Management;
  • In depth knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations, with a passion for promotion of safety and quality best practices;
  • Excellent communication – Ability to engage with a diverse team from all walks of life at any level;
  • Qualifications in Engineering, or similar.
