ROLE PURPOSE
This role is all about assisting the team to take our marketplace channels to the next level Internationally! Supporting the Head of eCommerce & Digital, along with the Marketplace & Channel Managers, you will drive sales & build brand awareness across marketplace channels in Australia, New Zealand, America, and Europe. As Marketplace Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for: managing the product enrichment process, driving & executing promotions & building relationships with external teams to grow our brands in new markets. Marketplaces include but are not limited to: The Iconic, Myer, Amazon, TheMarket, Nordstrom USA, Zappos & Zalando.

This opportunity will require someone creative, with great time management & communication skills - written & verbal. The successful candidate will be confident liaising with the immediate internal team as well as external partners. This role reports into the Head of e-Commerce & Digital.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the growth of marketplace channels through regularly analysing sales & product trends and driving actions accordingly.
  • Manage weekly reporting for marketplaces against sales and GP KPI’s including but not limited to average dollars sold, UPT, promotional performance.
  • Responsible for site operations, online marketing, merchandising, marketplace listings and brand maintenance.
  • Manage the product enrichment process across all marketplaces to ensure maximum product visibility across marketplace sites. This includes product descriptions, image upload & enrichment.
  • Optimise marketplace business by identifying ways to grow the channels.
  • Manage promotional offers across marketplaces. Including always on offers eg. 2 for offers and other weekly promotions.
  • Build relationships with the account managers and external teams to drive brands presence across marketplaces.
  • Drive weekly catch ups with relevant partners.
  • Ensure marketplace collateral is correct and updated in line with the digital marketing calendar & ensure weekly promotions are communicated and implemented in a timely manner.
  • Provide marketplaces with assets & content in the brand tone of voice for ad copy.
  • Negotiate additional marketing opportunities across the marketplaces databases to grow brand awareness.
  • Ensure website pricing, product photography and content are correct and online when required.
  • Conduct regular audits of the product range across sites.
  • Liaise with Digital support team where needed to work through any feed, product or pricing issues.
  • Responsible for post campaign reports for any marketing activity driven through marketplaces, analysing investment and return.
  • Work closely with the Head of eCommerce & Digital, Marketplace Manager & Channel Manager to assist on any ad hoc requests.
  • Work with the Merchandise Planning Team on website inventory opportunities to optimise sales & ensure availability across the range.
  • Align with the Customer Service team to ensure processes are followed, SLAs are being meant, and report on Customer Service matters relating to marketplaces.
  • Work with the Customer Service manager with understanding of costs-of-doing-business (CODB) i.e. returns, re-stocking, warehouse matters, distribution, along with planning of team resources to support the growth and demand generated by marketplace sales and operations.
  • Work closely with Head of eCommerce & Digital & eCommerce Co-ordinator and assist in brands site related tasks as needed.
We are looking for:
  • Understanding of key Ecommerce metrics & tools to trade with & experience pulling data & creating reports from a range of reporting tools.
  • Experience of working within a retail/fast paced business.
  • A genuine passion for digital & eCommerce.
  • Someone to act as a brand representative, working with various teams across design, marketing & content to ensure brand perception & essence are consistently communicated.
Skills:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an eCommerce/Digital environment.
  • Be highly organised & process driven, with amazing attention to detail.
  • Multi-tasker, able to manage workflow & meet deadlines.
  • A natural problem solver, with a ‘can-do’ attitude & not be afraid of a challenge – having a solution focused attitude.
  • Have a strong UX customer focus, understanding customer needs, behaviours & experiences.
  • Proficient in excel & word.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
