 About the role
 

The successful candidate will be assisting the National Account Managers in the management of the Grocery portfolio across both branded and private label product categories. In joining this global FMCG giant at this exciting time of change, you will be charged with assisting the National Account Managers in establishing and driving the portfolio development strategy through effective customer engagement, financial management, market and insight analytics as well as NPD project management.

The primary focus on this role will be to provide the National Account Managers with timely and robust data across sales and inventory and develop process excellent across weekly and monthly reporting.

Duties
  • Develop and produce robust data across sales and inventory
  • Build reports and automate processes
  • Liaise with supply planners and merchandise planners 
  • Building relationships, creating a deeper network inside client organisations with consistent and proactive dialogue with multiple decision makers
  • Proactively promoting product awareness and training needs of clients to ensure value is received
  • Dealing with incoming queries, issues and the day to day needs of your clients as they arise
  • Researching and understanding each client's business to identify new opportunities
Skills & Experience                                
  • Proficient in Excel 
  • Ability to work to KPI's & drive to exceed sales targets
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • A natural passion for consultative client-facing sales
  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferred but not essential
