Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Production
- Achieve delivery and inventory targets to support sales plans.
- Manage production and distribution to meet operational standards.
- Oversee forecasts, maintenance, and equipment procurement.
- Collaborate closely with sales to align production timelines with customer demand.
- Ensure departmental compliance with productivity and quality standards.
- Lead capital and improvement plans for long-term business success.
- Drive productivity through continuous improvement practices.
- Participate in strategic planning for facility expansion and growth.
- Promote a culture of safety, overseeing OH&S compliance, and maintaining safety KPIs.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all incidents are reported and addressed.
- Build and maintain an engaged workforce.
- Manage employee relations, including compensation, hours, and employment agreements.
- Oversee return-to-work processes for work-related injuries and workers’ compensation claims.
- Proven track record in operations management, preferably within a manufacturing, production or fabrication environment.
- Demonstrated strong leadership, proactive planning, and communication skills.
- Passion for people; bringing teams together to create clarity, trust, and shared purpose
- Process driven; history of measurable achievements and data driven improvements through KPIs.
- Experience in safety, quality assurance, and workforce management is essential.
