About the Role
As a Packaging Technologist, you will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of packaging solutions for a category of products. Your keen eye for detail and innovative mindset will drive you to design packaging that not only enhances product appeal but also aligns with the sustainability initiatives of the business. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will conduct thorough testing to ensure packaging materials meet quality and safety standards while keeping products protected. Your role will be instrumental in identifying eco-friendly materials, promoting recyclability, and adhering to relevant packaging regulations.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in packaging development and optimisation within the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and technologies.
- Familiarity with sustainability principles and experience in implementing environmentally friendly packaging solutions.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
