The Organisation
Our client is a well-known business in the retail space. Due to business growth, the need has arisen for a Payroll candidate to support the team on a permanent part-time basis. Working within a small team, this role will be suited for those that are able to hit the ground running and are looking for their next challenge whilst working in a fast paced and fun environment. 
  
Position Description 
Working alongside the HR Business Partner,  you will responsible for but not limited to:
  • End to end payroll management, processing and reconciliation for Australia including fortnightly and monthly payroll
  • Update and maintain payroll records 
  • Entering new employee details and contract changes
  • Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
  • Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
  • Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
  • Administration duties as required
  
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar payroll position along with the following attributes:
  • Retail experience - ideal although not mandatory
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
  • Experience in Award Interpretation (Retail, Storage, Distribution and Textile)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fun, vibrant personality
