About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working collaboratively amongst a close knit finance team, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Process and manage employee payroll accurately and timely
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, benefits, taxes, and deductions
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices
- Support month-end and year-end payroll processes
- Provide training and support on payroll matters
- Contribute to payroll process improvements
About You:
To be considered as a successful applicant for this business, you will have proven experience in a similar payroll position, along with a strong knowledge of payroll systems, software, and related legislation. Your strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enable you to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. The ideal individual will have a reliable and positive attitude, a willingness to provide support in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail. You will have strong time management skills and prior experience in a busy finance environment.
