About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Payments Controller to join our Finance team within the Telecommunications division. This role is pivotal in administering the subcontractor payments process nationally, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery in a high-volume environment. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Produce weekly subcontractor SOIPs (statement of Invoices and Payments) and RCTIs (Recipient Created Tax Invoices).
  • Validate subcontractor claims against agreed commercial and contractual parameters.
  • Act as the central point for payment queries, providing prompt and professional resolutions.
  • Perform adjustments to subcontractor payments with appropriate approvals.
  • Evaluate and improve payment processes, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Assist with client payment claims and month-end finance processes, including reconciliations and reporting. 

Skills & Experience
  • Experience in subcontractor payments management or accounts payable
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Ability to process high volumes of data under tight weekly deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
