An open opportunity for an enthusiastic Payroll Administrator to join a vibrant company in the heart of North Sydney. This role is working in a team of 4, reporting to the Payroll Manager. This is a high volume, end to end Australian payroll position with some exposure to NZ payroll as well. The company fosters a strong culture and are looking for an enthusiastic, bubbly candidate to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Responsibilities
- Process time sheets, including overtime for casuals etc
- Process staff movements including new starters, departures and other movements
- End to End Payroll for approximately 500 Australian employees (Combination of Permanent, Casuals, Part time)
- Approve all leave types (applying firms policies and processes)
- Respond to all customer queries (face to face, telephone, email)
- Apply payroll knowledge, knowledge of company policies and procedures and problem solving skills to provide a quality response
- Assisting Finance team on queries and reports
- Prior experience in a high-volume payroll environment
- Previous experience using a large payroll system (Not specific to having system knowledge, they are hiring for attitude)
- Strong Excel and numeracy skills
- Excellent communication skills, bubbly personality

- 4 days from the office, 1 day from home
