About the role:
This is an exciting and newly created opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to work within a large, multinational company and handle the day-to-day payroll system reporting tasks. You will analyze payroll data and provide accurate reports to managers. Provide feedback of findings and recommendations of further audits required. The role also involves interpretation of EBA and award employment conditions and providing advice to managers.

The responsibilities:
 As this is a newly created role, my client are seeking a candidate who has the ability to make this role their own, with guidance from the National Payroll Manager who you will report into. 
You will be responsible for but not limited to the following;
  • Analyze Payroll data as advised
  • Create processes around weekly / monthly audits
  • Provide outcome of analysis
  • Provide recommendations and suggestions around findings
  • Prepare backpays
  • Process backpays
  • Strong skills in interpretation of EBA and award employment conditions
  • Reviewing and checking of weekly/monthly payroll
  • Branch Audits
  • Assist others in the payroll team as required
  • Participate in Project related tasks
  • Work closely with Employee Relations Manager and National Payroll Manager on upcoming EBA negotiations and changes
  • Setup audit process
The successful applicant will have:
  • 5+ years in a similar Payroll Analyst position
  • Understanding of industrial relations, awards and agreements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with other members within the team.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills are essential
