The Organisation: 

Our client is a leading provider in their respective industry who are experiencing continued growth. With a range of key products this market leading organisation is seeking a driven and motivated Payroll & Accounts professional to join their supportive and inclusive team. The successful candidate will predominantly be looking after accounts payable, receivable and payroll duties, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial functionality, whilst assisting the team with broader administrative duties. This is a permanent role, whereby the business are seeking someone long term to grow with the team!

Position Description:

There will be plenty of variety in your role and responsibilities, and this will include, but not be limited to:
  • Managing end-to-end Accounts Payable duties 
  • Accurate processing of invoices weekly, and arranging timely supplier payments
  • Developing & maintaining relationships with key suppliers
  • Managing end-to-end Accounts Receivable duties
  • Allocating and receipting payments
  • Following up overdue accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Managing end-to-end Payroll duties
  • Liaise with the external accountant to help with BAS and additional reports
  • Developing and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Updating and maintaining internal databases
  • Various administrative tasks
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Other ad-hoc duties required by management 
The Ideal Candidate:
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager based in Melbourne, the role will require adaptability, attention to detail, the ability to prioritise, IT and numerically savvy, and someone who can work independently and as part of a collaborative team. You will also have previous proven experience within Payroll and Accounts, with strong communication skills to articulate your background.
