Position Description 
Reporting directly into the People & Culture Manager, you will take ownership of the Payroll function and various HR duties. Your responsibilities will include: 
  • Processing weekly and fortnightly payroll for 400 employees
  • Interpretation and application of EBA and awards
  • Prepare and lodge payroll tax and superannuation
  • Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
  • Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
  • Ensure all monthly and yearly payroll deadlines are met
  • Assist with recruitment of new staff and ensure the recruitment process is adhered to
  • Complete varying HR duties to assist the People & Culture Manager
  • Maintenance and creation of relevant policies and procedures
  • Reporting duties, on both a weekly and monthly basis 

Ideal Candidate 
To be considered successful in the role, you will possess the following attributes:
  • Proven experience & knowledge with end to end payroll processing
  • A keen eye for detail and a positive can-do attitude
  • High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to confidently work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a close knit team environment
