Position Description
Reporting directly into the People & Culture Manager, you will take ownership of the Payroll function and various HR duties. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing weekly and fortnightly payroll for 400 employees
- Interpretation and application of EBA and awards
- Prepare and lodge payroll tax and superannuation
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Ensure all monthly and yearly payroll deadlines are met
- Assist with recruitment of new staff and ensure the recruitment process is adhered to
- Complete varying HR duties to assist the People & Culture Manager
- Maintenance and creation of relevant policies and procedures
- Reporting duties, on both a weekly and monthly basis
Ideal Candidate
To be considered successful in the role, you will possess the following attributes:
- Proven experience & knowledge with end to end payroll processing
- A keen eye for detail and a positive can-do attitude
- High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to confidently work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a close knit team environment
