Position Description
Reporting directly into the People & Culture Manager, you will take ownership of the Payroll function and various HR duties. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing weekly and fortnightly payroll for 400 employees
- Interpretation and application of EBA and awards
- Prepare and lodge payroll tax and superannuation
- Onboard new starters and oversee the induction paperwork
- Issuing letters of offer and contracts for new starter employees
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Coordinate the annual salary review process for employees
- Ensure all monthly and yearly payroll deadlines are met
- Assist with recruitment of new staff and ensure the recruitment process is adhered to
- Complete varying HR duties to assist the People & Culture Manager
- Maintenance and creation of relevant policies and procedures
- Reporting duties, on both a weekly and monthly basis
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful application will have a strong background in payroll, with an ability to confidently take ownership of the payroll function, with a combined passion for human resources. You will have effective time management and organisational skills, and a proven ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a broader team setting. Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and a willingness to be flexible will be essential for this position.
