Position Description
This role will partner closely with the Payroll, Project and Human resources team to execute the following:
- Providing advanced expertise and specialist advice on payroll awards, industrial agreements, and healthcare specific statutory requirements
- Offering a consultative approach to problem solving and advising on appropriate actions
- Delivering value add analysis and commentary to stakeholders across the organisation
- Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques, and presenting meaningful recommendations
- Ensure that configuration of the system is both accurate and compliant prior to go live
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Prior experience in a Senior Payroll Analyst/Consultant role, ideally within a complex or award‑heavy environment such as healthcare
- Proven experience in award and EBA interpretation roles for rostering and workforce management projects
- High attention to detail and accuracy to identify compliance risks
- Ability to communicate complex payroll or industrial matters in a clear, simplified way
- A proactive, forward‑thinking approach with an appetite for leading change
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with confident, professional communication
- Highly flexible working arrangements
