Exciting opportunity for an experienced and specialised Payroll Officer or Payroll Team Lead to take the next step in their career.
Position Description
Reporting into the Shared Services Manager, your daily tasks will include:
- Managing the payroll for 1200 employees in total
- Overseeing a team of 3
- Monthly payroll
- Payroll reconciliations, payroll tax and award interpretation
- Ongoing governance and compliance
- Payroll reporting as well as leading other ad hoc payroll projects
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Lead position along with the following attributes:
- Experience working with a medium/large scale business within payroll
- End to end payroll knowledge, including payroll reconciliations, tax and award knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Well-organized, positive, pro-active and able to work in a team environment
